Social Media Manager (Job Description)

Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for social media and connecting with people. That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Posting designated/given content
  • Finding & posting content that aligns with the brand
  • Creating content using programs/apps
  • Posting original content from our photoshoots
  • Posting “behind the scenes” content from events
  • Attend events to capture social media content 
  • Managing social media questions, #'s & live stream during live events
  • Responding to comments
  • Engaging followers daily
  • Maintain a daily 1-2  post per platform social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Snapchat
  • Making sure each social media platform as a unique voice & post. 
  • Scheduling post as needed
  • Meet weekly to discuss social media direction for the upcoming week 
  • Meet weekly to shoot original lifestyle content for the upcoming week
  • Deliberate planning and goal setting
  • Cultivation of leads and sales
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
  • Create a regular publishing schedule.
  • Leverage the right tools to manage your content. 
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.

 

Extra Credit:

- Photography experience with your own equipment/camera

- Photoshop or illustrator a plus, but not necessary 

- Must be able to think outside of the box and be quick on their feet

- Great communication skills 

- Any experience in the self-help, wellness & life coaching space

Compensation

  • Base Pay
